Holy Sweet God, When Will the Rain Stop?

I unplugged the heck out of my computer last night because lightning threatened to wipe it from the face of the earth, or at the very least, explode it all up in my faces. So this is why the comic is less than on time. The rain got so bad that I had to move my car to higher ground. The parking lot was flooding with over a foot of water and there was no sign of abatement. As I returned to my apartment in the torrents of rain, there was a bearded man, about 60 or 70 years old, standing out in the gale with, I kid you not, a captain's hat and a corn-cob pipe. As I passed by he said to me in a spot-on seadog accent "ehyeah... sum weather we'ah havin'". Here's to you old man.
Busy Busy
posted by Clay on Tue, Jun 27th 2006With Connecticon coming up, I'm feelin' the preh-sha. I got the shipment of shirts in today, but they are stuck at the apartment office, so I won't get a chance to see them until tomorrow morning. Needless to say, I'm really excited about them, and I'm going to rip into that box like a fat kid on Xmas morning. I'm trying to get a poster design done before I leave, but we'll see how that goes. My first priority is to get ahead in comics for Rob and Elliot and Sluggy before I leave. I really hope I get to see some of you at the con, it's looking like it may be my only one this season as I completely dropped the ball on Wizard World Chicago and Otakon.
